Mathilde Pluim is a European specialist in veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation and holds a PhD from Ghent University on the effectiveness of high-power laser therapy in treating tendon injuries in horses. Mathilde Pluim is also the team veterinarian for the German driving team and an FEI official veterinarian. She worked for 12 years at Tierklinik Lüsche in Germany, gaining extensive experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. She was also an international show jumper. Her specialization, research, and experience have made her an expert in her field. At TeamVet Centre NL, the Dutch practice she opened in collaboration with Tierklinik Lüsche, she will focus on her specialty: sports medicine and rehabilitation.
Kristy has been involved with her own horses from a young age and has turned her horse hobby into her career. She initially gained experience as a groom at various show jumping stables. She then worked at Tierklinik Lüsche as an assistant to Mathilde, providing veterinary support on the road throughout the Netherlands. At TeamVet Centre NL, Kristy can be found both in the treatment room and in the office, where she enthusiastically supports the veterinarians.
Anna Visser joined the AOC De Groene Welle equine training program in Zwolle as an intern for top dressage rider Hans Peter Minderhoud (later Glock). For 21 years, she cared for his horses, including stars such as Tango, Johnson, Flirt, Dreamboy, and Nadine. Anna has groomed several major championships, including the Olympic Games in Hong Kong, Rio, Tokyo, and Paris. She will be working as an assistant at the TeamVet Centre NL. With her extensive experience as a top groom, the horses are in good hands.
Nathan Wiggers is a veterinarian, chiropractor, and active equestrian. In 2013, he founded EQmove, where he focuses on analyzing and optimizing movement, training, and rehabilitation in horses. In addition to using modern measuring equipment for diagnosis and treatment, he also guides horses and riders in (rehabilitation) training, both in-hand and under saddle. Nathan will offer his services at our location in collaboration with TeamVet Centre NL.
Located in Lower Saxony, Germany, Tierklinik Lüsche is one of Europe's largest equine clinics, with a team of over 120 employees. With a strong focus on sport horses and advanced veterinary care, the clinic covers all major disciplines in equine medicine. Specialists from Lüsche in internal medicine, surgery, sports medicine, and imaging, among others, will also regularly be present at TeamVet Centre NL, bringing even more expertise to the clinic. In addition, there will be close cooperation between the Harskamp, Netherlands, and Lüsche, Germany, locations, allowing for transportation to this "parent clinic" for advanced diagnostics and/or surgeries.
